BIM Data Management Training

In the era of digital transformation in construction, BIM data management plays a crucial role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently and accurately. The BIM Data Management Training Program is designed to help participants set up standardized projects, manage data and resources systematically, and closely monitor project outputs. Additionally, participants will gain hands-on experience with automation and support tools, as well as master methods for assigning permissions and using shared data on a server. This forms a vital foundation for enhancing management capabilities and optimizing efficiency across all BIM projects.

Training Content

1. Project Setup

• Project initialization.
• Linking models.
• Managing names, storage, and organizing models.
• Creating project grids and levels; setting up views, sheets, and scope boxes.

2. Model Management + Data Output.

• Create and manage filters and object visibility in Views.
• Create and manage templates for Views and Sections.
• Set up title blocks and line styles.
• Manage outputs (Navisworks + IFC 4.0 + AutoCAD + PDF).

3. Setup:

• Revit Server (Central + Local file)

4. Automate resource management using extended tools (Add-ins)

5. Hands-on practice and guidance on the participants’ actual project models.
